There is no doubt that AI has completely changed the way we interact with the world around us. What once seemed impossible is now becoming a reality.
In our quest to harness the capabilities of artificial intelligence, we at AI Worlds stand firm in the belief that we've identified an application where its potential can truly flourish. Specifically, we've pinpointed the genre of text-based games, or interactive fiction, as the ideal launchpad for realizing the full extent of its power.
After all, here, unlike any other genre, players aren't mere bystanders in the lives of the characters within the story. Here, they don't simply navigate through the narrative via on-screen words; instead, they become the heroes of their own stories, witnessing those words come to life right before their eyes.
With that said, we view text-based games as virtual environments that induce experiences not achievable through any other media. A virtual environment that revolves around authentic human interaction and genuine human emotions within a dynamic and evolving fictional world.
One of the main directions of AI Worlds development is to create rich, vivid, open-world role-playing games (RPGs) with unlimited possibilities, where players are not bound to obligatory completion of missions and quests, but decide for themselves how the story will develop.
In this case, the AI serves only as a guide. It helps the player put the boldest (and wildest) ideas on paper.
To help players feel like they're the heroes of their own story, we've taken a page from popular open-world game universes. We are also preparing to release games in the style of galactic quest, cyberpunk, space horror, zombie survival, and many more.
In other words, whatever journey you take with AI Worlds, it will always be extraordinary. And in the end, the question we're asking really boils down to this: Which path will you choose from the myriad others that are limitless to discover?
Another aspect of the AI Worlds vision is the ability to author your own game universe scenarios, thereby allowing other players to immerse themselves in previously unexplored realms.
For example, imagine you could create a scenario in which you:
find yourself as a cosmic smuggler to disturb the boundless expanses of space in search of easy money, or a leader of a secret intergalactic organization, committed to return order and justice back to the universe;
travel back to the days of cowboys, lawmen, pioneers, outlaws, and gunslingers to feel like a real leader of a gang of daredevils who raid trains and are wanted by the sheriffs of many states;
or voyaged to a post-apocalyptic world to explore all its pitfalls and lands soaked with nuclear substances down to the soil, not forgetting to have fun along this whole... adventure (because who says survival has to be all about drama?),
and then share your creations with others.
